The PORTASPOT 230 is a compact, single-phase resistance spot welder designed for professional bodyshops, restoration workshops and light fabrication environments. Operating on a standard 230V 16A supply, this French-manufactured unit features synergic control technology that automatically adjusts welding current and spot time according to selected sheet thickness. Capable of welding mild steel sheets from 0.6 + 0.6 mm up to 2.0 + 2.0 mm (ideal at 1.2 + 1.2 mm), it delivers consistent, repeatable weld quality. The microprocessor-controlled keypad ensures simple operation, while continuous and pulse modes allow effective welding of harder steels and coated materials.
