The Parweld XTT 212 is our best selling and best value ACDC TIG Welder. Its proved very popular with alloy wheel repair companies due to its features, great torch and its duty cycle.
Not to be confused with the AC waveform as used when welding aluminium Pulse is a process of hot/cold weld cycles whilst welding. We can alter the top weld current (peak) and the drop current (base) as well as the frequency of the pulses and duration. I usually go half and half. so if i have 100 amps at the peak , i set the drop to 50 amps. This is a great feature, not only is it used for welding thin steels and for stainless steel its also great when welding thin aluminium as the drop in current enables the weld to stay as cool as possible.
This is used in AC mode when welding aluminium. The cleaning effect is the action that cleans off the oxidation layer of the material prior to the weld current following and melting the material. A good setting on this machine is 30
This is the frequency of the pulses. 1 is one pulse per second. The higher the number the more pulses per second up to 200
