TIP DIP 500Ml is an anti-spatter tip dip designed to protect MIG/MAG torch nozzles, contact tips and gas diffusers from weld spatter build-up, helping maintain a stable gas shield and reducing downtime for cleaning. Supplied in a 500 ml pot with a brushable, jelly-like consistency, it is applied cold to the hot nozzle, leaving a thin protective film that makes spatter easier to remove and prolongs consumable life in busy bodyshop and fabrication environments.

Mainland UK Delivery
Orders over £70 (excluding VAT) qualify for free delivery.
Orders under £70 (excluding VAT) are charged at £6.95.
Remote & Offshore Locations
Deliveries to the Scottish Highlands, Islands, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Channel Islands and Isles of Scilly are subject to additional carriage charges. These typically start from £18.95 and may increase depending on size and weight.

Returns
We offer a 14-day approval period from the date of delivery to ensure the goods meet your expectations.
Returned items must be in new, unused condition and in their original packaging. Return carriage costs are the responsibility of the customer.
We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured delivery service, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.
Items ordered incorrectly and returned for credit may be subject to a 15% restocking fee. This may be waived on orders at our discretion.
Engineer Advice
In practice, you briefly dip the warm (not red hot) nozzle into the compound, rotating slightly so the inside lip is coated. The aim is a thin film, not a thick blob. Too much dip can contaminate the weld area, especially on thinner automotive panels and zinc-coated steels.
One common issue we see is operators plunging in while the torch is far too hot. This burns the dip, leaves carbon on the nozzle and can actually make gas coverage worse. Another is forgetting to clean and re-dip regularly, so spatter still builds up and gas flow becomes restricted.
Used correctly, tip dip helps keep the torch clean, maintains consistent gas coverage and reduces downtime for nozzle changes.
