This aluminium dent pulling equipment is designed for straightening aluminium body panels using welded studs and controlled pulling, without removing the panel in many repairs.

In a bodyshop, I would use it on doors, bonnets, wings, sills and wheelhouses where access behind the panel is limited or replacement would add unnecessary time. The process involves cleaning the repair area, isolating aluminium contamination, welding suitable aluminium studs, then pulling progressively with the bar or bridge while checking panel movement.

Correct preparation is important. Aluminium needs clean, dedicated abrasives and tools, as steel contamination can affect weld quality and corrosion resistance. The selected stud and power setting must also suit the panel thickness and the pull required; excessive force can stretch the metal rather than restore it.

A common issue is trying to pull a large area in one operation. Controlled, localised pulls usually give better results and reduce finishing work. Keep the earth and gun contacts clean, and inspect every weld before loading it.

Used with the correct consumables and a steady repair sequence, the kit provides a reliable way to reduce aluminium panel damage and unnecessary dismantling.
