Technical Features
- Technical Features
- Synergic Control System: The TransSteel 3500C features Fronius's intuitive synergic operating mode, which automatically coordinates wire feed speed and voltage parameters. Operators simply select their wire type, diameter, and shielding gas, and the machine calculates the optimal welding program — dramatically reducing setup time and ensuring consistent weld quality, even for less experienced operators.
- Robust Steel Housing (TransSteel Design Concept): Built with a purposedesigned steel outer casing, the TransSteel 3500C withstands the rigours of both workshop and onsite use. The housing is impactresistant and provides a stable, protective environment for internal components, extending the operational life of the machine in tough industrial conditions.
- High Duty Cycle Performance: Capable of sustaining 100% duty cycle at 220A and 40% at full 350A output, the TransSteel 3500C is engineered for highthroughput production welding. This reduces downtime caused by thermal cutouts and ensures consistent arc performance throughout extended welding sessions.
- Broad Wire and Gas Compatibility: Supporting solid wire from 0.6mm to 1.2mm and fluxcored wire from 0.9mm to 1.6mm, this machine is highly adaptable. It is compatible with a full range of shielding gases including CO₂, Argon/CO₂ mixes, and trimixes, making it suitable for carbon steel, stainless steel, and fluxcored applications.
- Large Spool Capacity: The integrated wire feed unit accommodates spool sizes up to 15kg on a 300mm arbour, reducing the frequency of spool changes during highvolume production runs. This contributes to improved operational efficiency and reduced interruption to welding workflows.
- Digital Parameter Display: A clear, easytoread digital display provides realtime feedback on welding voltage and current. Operators can monitor and finetune parameters during welding operations, enabling precise process control and faster fault identification, which is particularly valuable in qualitycritical fabrication environments.
