- AlMg 5356 is typically chosen because of its relatively high shear strength compared to AlSi4043 . It's generally used in structural parts of the vehicle.
- Alloy wheel repair is recommended with this grade of wire due to the increased strength in the HAZ zone.
- The 5XXX alloy base material, welded with 5356, with a weld pool chemistry greater than 3% Mg and service temperatures in excess of 65°C are susceptible to stress corrosion cracking.
- AlMg 5356 alloy is non-heat treatable as it weakens the shear strength.

Deliveries to the Scottish Highlands, Islands, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Channel Islands and Isles of Scilly are subject to additional carriage charges. These typically start from £18.95 and may increase depending on size and weight.

Returns
We offer a 14-day approval period from the date of delivery to ensure the goods meet your expectations.
Returned items must be in new, unused condition and in their original packaging. Return carriage costs are the responsibility of the customer.
We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured delivery service, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.
Items ordered incorrectly and returned for credit may be subject to a 15% restocking fee. This may be waived on orders at our discretion.
