MIG welders are bread‑and‑butter kit in most bodyshops, so it’s worth matching the machine properly to the type of repair work you do. With the Parweld range running from compact single‑phase units up to high‑duty three‑phase XTM power sources, I’d start by being clear on your typical material thickness, duty cycle needs and available supply in the workshop.
For panel work and light fabrication, the smaller Parweld inverters are perfectly adequate and more practical on a 230 V line, especially where space and mobility matter. For heavier chassis or jig work, the higher‑amp three‑phase sets with 4‑roll feeders and 15 kg reels make more sense, particularly if you’re pushing solid wire on longer torches or welding stainless and aluminium.
