Engineer Advice
Paul Jones says
When using this equipment, it's imperative to ensure the correct setup for optimal performance. Pay close attention to the electrode size and condition, as this can significantly affect the weld quality. Additionally, carefully gauge the power settings based on the materials being welded; for example, steel may require different settings compared to aluminium.
From my experience, a common issue arises when the arm movement is improperly calibrated, leading to inconsistent weld penetration. Regularly checking the arm’s travel and ensuring it aligns with the material thickness can mitigate this problem.
In conclusion, the reliability of the TECNA 16 KVA spot welder lies in its proper setup and maintenance. With the right control and attention to detail, it will deliver efficient, professional welds suitable for the rigours of everyday workshop use.
