The Gyspot 39.02D is a 230V steel dent puller with a 3800A output, intended for steel straightening and dent pulling. In a bodyshop I use it for welding studs, rivets and rings, contact shrinking, inertia hammer pulls and dent pulling with star points; the multi-function gun and supplied accessories make it ready to use on the bench or trolley. The control logic simplifies operation: you select one of 11 power levels and the tool type from seven options, while welding is triggered automatically by contact. Two technical points matter in practice: the 70 mm² earth and gun cables must be secured and routed to avoid loss of contact, and contact cleanliness determines consistent triggering and weld quality. A common issue I see is intermittent firing caused by poor earthing or contaminated surfaces, not machine fault. Correct setup, routine consumable attention and solid earthing give reliable, repeatable results for steel dent repair. I am Paul Jones, Technical Director.
