FAQs

What is the rated capacity and what components is the table intended to handle?
Safe working load (SWL) is 1.0 tonne (1000kg). The table is designed for handling EV battery packs, petrol/diesel engines, transmissions, subframes and similar heavy assemblies up to the rated SWL. It is not intended for lifting people or loads above the stated SWL.
What air supply does the pneumatic-hydraulic pump require and how does it connect?
The pump is driven by workshop compressed air. Working pressure range is 87–145 psi (6–10 bar) with a minimum supplied working pressure of 85 psi (5.9 bar) noted to achieve operation. Air connection is via a 1/4" BSP airline. The pump requires a clean, dry and lubricated air supply; drain compressor tank and filters regularly to avoid moisture/oil damage.
How do the platform adjustment and lifting pads work for alignment and positioning?
Platform size is 1500 x 800 mm and the working height is adjustable from 550 to 1750 mm. The tabletop can be moved ±40 mm in any direction to assist alignment with the vehicle. There are four independently adjustable rubber lifting pads to set load contact points. Use the platform locking pins to fix position once aligned.
What safety and maintenance procedures should my workshop follow?
Before working under the platform insert a high-drop arrest pin into an arrest-pin socket as a mechanical safety stop and engage rear wheel brakes. Always use on flat, level, solid ground and observe the ambient temperature limits specified in the instructions. Disconnect the compressed air before moving the lift. Check for oil and air leaks, lubricate moving parts monthly and inspect wheel condition and brake locks. Change the pump hydraulic oil and clean pump air inlet/oil outlet filters every 250 hours; use HVI-13 low-freezing point hydraulic oil or equivalent. The unit is CE compliant; follow the supplied instructions and vehicle manufacturer procedures when lifting or positioning components.
