Technical Features
- Latest IGBT multiprocess inverter power source combining MIG/MAG, MMA and AC/DC TIG in a single 230 V machine for flexible bodyshop and fabrication work
- Digital volt/amp display with clear front panel controls for accurate setting and repeatable weld parameters
- Fourroll wire feed system for consistent, stable wire delivery on solid and fluxcored wires, improving arc stability and bead appearance
- Accepts 5 kg and 15 kg wire spools and is suitable for 0.6, 0.8 and 1.0 mm wires, covering light panel work through to heavier fabrication
- MMA capability for 1.6–4.0 mm electrodes, allowing stick welding on site work, brackets, repairs and heavier sections
- Integrated VRD (Voltage Reduction Device) for improved operator safety in MMA mode, especially in damp or confined conditions
- Trolleymounted package with bottle space for easy movement around the workshop and better ergonomics at the bench or vehicle
- Generatorfriendly design, allowing use on suitable enginedriven sets where mains supply is not available
- MIG/MAG mode with adjustable wire speed (2–16 m/min) and inductance for controlling arc softness, spatter levels and heat input into thin automotive panels
- 2T/4T trigger modes to suit short welds or longer runs, reducing operator fatigue on sustained weld passes
- Burnback adjustment to trim the end of the wire after each weld, preventing wire sticking and easing restarts
- Full AC/DC TIG capability with HF and lift start options for clean arc ignition on steels, stainless and aluminium
- AC frequency control in TIG AC mode to refine arc focus and penetration profile on aluminium components
- AC balance control to adjust cleaning action versus penetration when TIG welding oxidised aluminium surfaces
- Preand postflow gas adjustment in TIG modes to protect the tungsten and weld pool, reducing porosity and tungsten contamination
- Upslope and downslope control in TIG to ramp current in and out smoothly, minimising crater cracking and reducing heat shock on thin material
- Start and end current adjustment for precise control at arc ignition and crater fill, useful on thin gauge and cosmetic welds
- Pulse TIG function with adjustable pulse frequency for better control of heat input, distortion and weld bead appearance on thin sheet
- Hot start function in MMA to improve arc striking on difficult electrodes and poor fitup
- Adjustable arc force in MMA to stabilise the arc and reduce sticking on lowvoltage or positional work
- Job save function allowing storage and recall of welding programmes, giving repeatable settings for common repair procedures
- Supplied with MIG torch, AC/DC TIG torch, MMA lead set, foot pedal, gas hose and 16 A plug for a complete readytoweld workshop package

FAQs
What welding processes does the CROSARC COMBI WELD 200MF PRO cover for workshop use?
It is a true multi-process inverter set: MIG/MAG, MMA (stick) and TIG AC/DC with HF and lift start. That means you can handle general steel fabrication and body repairs in MIG, structural and site work with 1.6–4.0 mm electrodes in MMA, and full DC and AC TIG work for stainless and aluminium, including more delicate alloy jobs such as intercoolers, casings and body panels.
Is the COMBI WELD 200MF PRO suitable for aluminium welding in a bodyshop?
Yes. It has AC/DC TIG with AC frequency and AC balance control plus pulse function, so you can set it up correctly for aluminium. For bodyshop use it will comfortably handle alloy body panels, brackets and repair sections. Just pair it with pure argon, appropriate tungsten and a suitable TIG torch set-up. The supplied Parker DGT26FX-12 torch is already matched to the machine for this type of work.
What power supply and duty cycle does this machine need in a professional workshop?
It runs on single‑phase 230 V (±15 %) 50/60 Hz with a 16 A input current and is supplied with a 16 A plug. At 40 °C ambient it delivers 200 A at 50% duty cycle on MIG, TIG and MMA, which is realistic for UK workshop conditions. For consistent performance, we recommend a dedicated 16 A supply, especially if you intend to run at the upper end of the 40–200 A MIG range for longer welds.
What does the standard package include and what wire sizes and reels can it take?
As standard you get the Combi Weld 200MF PRO power source on trolley, 4 m M2 MIG torch, Parker DGT26FX-12 TIG torch, earth return lead and clamp, 3 m MMA lead, gas hose, foot pedal and a 16 A plug. The 4‑roll feeder will run 0.6, 0.8 and 1.0 mm MIG wire and accepts both 5 kg and 15 kg spools, which suits most general fabrication and bodyshop work. This keeps consumables standard and easy to source from BWS and other trade suppliers.
