Engineer Advice
Jason says
When using this type of anti-spatter, it’s crucial to consider the compatibility with the materials you’re working on. For example, while it works effectively on steel, some coatings can react with silicon, causing issues with paint adhesion later on. Ensure that you follow the manufacturer’s instructions on application distance and drying time for the best results.
From my experience, a common issue is over-application, which can lead to unsightly blemishes if not controlled. A light, even coat is typically sufficient. By using the correct product we enhance operational efficiency, reduce rework, and ultimately ensure cleaner finishes that meet professional repair standards.
