Welding gas hoses need to be chosen for the gas type, pressure rating and the way the set is used on site. In bodyshops and workshops, the main issues are leak-free connections, abrasion resistance and enough flexibility to route safely around bays and trolleys. Check the hose bore against the flow required by the welder, match fittings correctly, and replace any hose that has cracking, stiffness or damage from heat and spatter.
