This is a dedicated UV LED curing light for larger paint repair areas in the bodyshop, typically primers and fillers on panels up to around door size. In practice you’d have it on a stand and work at the recommended distance so you get an even UV spread across the repair, then move panel by panel through your workflow.

The key technical point is understanding that it’s a cold UV source, so there’s effectively no heat into the panel. That makes it suitable for plastic bumpers and other heat‑sensitive substrates, but you still need to follow the paint manufacturer’s guidance on exposure time and distance. Proper positioning with a tripod or wheel stand, and keeping the face of the lamp clean, are important for consistent curing.

What I often see is people running it too close and assuming “more UV is better”, which can lead to over‑cure or uneven results. Used correctly, these lamps are a reliable way to shorten process times and keep repairs flowing without cooking panels, provided the setup and timings are controlled.
