SYNERGIC ADJUSTMENT: SET THE THICKNESS AND START WELDING!
By setting the thickness to be welded, the welding power is adjusted, which affects the pulling speed and the amount of current transferred to the filler wire.
A synergic setting is just that, its a setting determined by a professional welder at the Telwin factory for the material thickness chosen.
Synergic settings give the welder an ease of use in setting the welder up with an optimal setting for that thickness.
But its just a setting, you may want to move away from this synergic setting and have a little bit more or less wire. This is where the trim or "arc length" comes in" it enables you to increase or decrease the wire and trim it to your preference.
To change the shape of the seam it is possible to adjust the arc length to determine the greater or lesser contribution of temperature to the weld.
More Wire means more current and less means less.
Convex shape: low heat input, the weld is "cold", with little penetration.
Concave shape: high heat input, the weld is too "hot", with excessive penetration.
External polarity change for easier and more immediate machine set-up.
Lift Striking arc ignition save contamination of the tungsten electrode and is usually found in more expensive units
